Julia Worrall
After spending 20+ years as a critical care nurse, Julia was introduced to an amazing, forward-thinking, dental provider that was able to successfully treat her intractable migraines and sleep issues. This chance meeting opened up a whole new world! Applying herself to taking multiple sleep and craniofacial courses along with her insatiable appetite for research led to the discovery that sleep is so much more than just ‘closing one’s eyes’.
Realizing that this information is sorely lacking in all areas of healthcare as well as in the general population, she created an International Airway Advocate program for The Foundation for Airway Health. Additionally, Julia is a published author, Editor-in-Chief of Best Sleep Magazine, and a member of multiple professional bodies. She lectures internationally and is an expert in applying sleep and craniofacial assessments in a healthcare environment.
She is honoured to be the Educational Director for The Continuing Education Alliance and to sit on the Executive Board for the Foundation for Airway Health, ALF InterFACE Academy and to be an adjunct faculty member for the Indian Society for Sleep Research (World Sleep Society) and contributing member of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, American Academy of Sleep Technologists.
